AFK Foundry has been in existence for over 100 years.  In the early 1920's
AFK produced engines for boats that were used to race on a local river.  In
the 1930's and early 1940's, AFK entered into the agriculture markets
producing barn equipment and cattle drinking bowls along with other farm
related items.  

In the early 1970's, the company split into two divisions; farm equipment
assembly (Saturn Agromatic/Klinzing), and the Foundry (AFK Corp.- August
Ferdinand Klinzing).
