Full Service Foundry allows for all size production runs - including prototyping services!
AFK Foundry has been dedicated to providing value to our many customers over the decades. We have found that by controlling the production process in-house allows for quality control and quicker turnaround - leading to increased supply chain value to our customer base.
Patterns & Tooling
Inside Patternshop allows us to rig and gate and properly setup our customer tooling for casting production.
Core Making
AFK has In-House core production facilities to help us effectively control our casting production. Our core room is located in our main facility and contains both shell and air set core capabilities.
3 Redford 16 shell machines
2 Redford 43 shell machines
3 part phenolic resin palmer that allows for blow boxes and dump boxes in the airset process
Automated Molding
Automated Molding allows AFK to Deliver Value to our many customers in a key dimension that directly corresponds to competitive casting pricing.
Equipment includes (2) 16 X 20 Automatic Molding Lines
Easily convert 14 x 19 match plates***
Ideal casting sizes are from Ounces up to 35 lbs

COPE & DRAG MOLDING
C&D Molding allows AFK to Deliver Value to our many customers in another key dimension of larger molding and castings sizes. We can manufacture castings that typically will max out around 250+ LBS.
Equipment includes (2) C&D CELLS

26x26, 28x28x 30x30, 30x32, 28x38 and 18x37 specializing in short to medium volume of l
arger parts from 50# up to 250#.

Hamburg Cleaning Facilities
Our Hamburg Facility is a 25,000+ SQ FT Manufacturing facility where we specialize in finishing and grinding our castings. We utilize 8 advanced grinding work stations.
